My Gee Trading (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website mygeetrading.co.uk (the “Site”) and sells digital products such as TradingView indicators. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under UK GDPR/UK Data Protection Act 2018 (and EU GDPR if applicable)


1) What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide our products, run the Site, and meet our legal obligations:

A) When you browse the SiteDevice and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps).Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies below).

B) When you purchase or create an account

Name, email address, billing details (some fields may be optional).

TradingView username (to grant or revoke invite-only access).

Order information (items purchased, dates, invoice details).

Card & bank details: We never see or store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., WooPayments/Stripe, PayPal, or a crypto gateway if you choose it). They receive your payment data directly and process it under their own privacy terms.

C) When you contact us

The information you send (email, support requests, attachments or screenshots).

D) Optional analytics / embedded content

If enabled, analytics (e.g., IP-anonymised page metrics).

Embedded content (e.g., videos) may collect data as if you visited the third-party site.


2) Why we use your data (lawful bases)

Contract: To provide the Site, process orders, deliver digital access, manage your account, and provide support.

Legitimate interests: Site security, fraud prevention, product improvement, non-intrusive analytics, and customer communications about service or product changes.

Legal obligations: Tax/accounting record-keeping, regulatory compliance.

Consent: Where required (e.g., optional marketing emails, non-essential cookies).


3) TradingView usernames & access

We collect your TradingView username solely to grant and manage invite-only access to our scripts on TradingView. We do not control TradingView’s platform. Your use of TradingView is subject to TradingView’s own terms and privacy policy. Access can be revoked (e.g., non-payment, misuse, or upon refund).


4) Sharing your data (processors & recipients)

We share data only with providers that help us operate the Site and fulfill purchases, under data-processing agreements where appropriate:

WooCommerce (store/order management within WordPress).

Payment processors (e.g., WooPayments/Stripe, PayPal, and—if you enable it later—a crypto gateway such as CoinGate/Coinbase Commerce). They process payment data and may perform fraud checks.

Hosting & security (web host, CDN, DDoS/firewall services, backup providers).

Email/service desk (transactional emails, support).

Analytics (if enabled) using privacy-respecting settings.

We do not sell your personal data.


5) International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses).


6) Data retention

Orders, invoices, and access logs: kept for as long as necessary for accounting, tax and compliance (typically 6 years in the UK).

TradingView usernames / access lists: retained while you have active access and for a reasonable period afterward to manage reinstatement/records.

Support communications: retained as needed to resolve issues and maintain records.

Analytics cookies: per their configured lifetimes.

We delete or anonymise data when it’s no longer needed.


7) Your rights

Subject to law, you have the right to request:

Access to your personal data

Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data

Erasure (where no longer necessary)

Restriction or objection to certain processing

Portability of data you provided to us

Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

Links and embeds may lead to third-party sites/services with their own privacy policies. We aren’t responsible for their practices.
